Smart Spring Cleaning
Finally! It’s time to change out and clean out that closet for spring and summer. Here are some guidelines that will leave you feeling btter about dealing with that closet than you’ve ever felt!
1. Do Not put away anything with a stain or hole in it. If you would never lend that peice of clothing to a friend, then throw it away.
2. If it fits but you never where it…give it away.
3. If you love it but it is out of style, give it away. By the time
it’s back in style you won’t love it the same way.
4. When you bring out the new season clothes, only hang as much in your closet as you would if you were staging it, which means one full inch apart between hangers and shelves are not stuffed.
5. plan your clothes out for the season as if you were going on a month long trip. Put all those clothes in your closet and put the others away for next year. You will have plenty of choices and feel less overwhelmed when deciding what to where.
6. Do the same selection and coordination process with all acessories and you have just simplified your life!
